Produced in 1999 by the late Dexter King, "Our Friend Martin, still draws a crowd. Two friends travel back in time and are surprised to meet Martin Luther King Jr. at various points in his life.
Come spend part of your Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday with Woodridge Library, watching this animated movie that all ages will love. "Our Friend Martin" takes an empathetic look at the life of Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement, through the eyes of a group of young teens. Short discussion to follow film screening.
