This event is the third in a series of screenings of documentaries about artist-run spaces in Washington, D.C.
Join us for a screening of two short documentaries, Making Spaces: The Legend of Union Arts and Rhizome is Home, followed by a post-screening discussion about the connections between spaces, and the importance of documenting artist-run spaces today. The discussion will be moderated by Maps Glover, artist and former co-director of Uptown Art House, in conversation with filmmaker Jamal Toye (Making Spaces) and Uptown Art House co-founder Jamal Gray.
