Join us at the Francis A. Gregory Library for our Beginner's American Sign Language (ASL) classes, designed to introduce you to the basics of ASL in a supportive and engaging environment
Whether you're looking to communicate with the Deaf community, enhance your language skills, or simply explore a new way of expression, our classes are the perfect starting point.
Purpose of the Classes: Our ASL classes aim to provide a strong foundation in American Sign Language, focusing on essential vocabulary, grammar, and conversational skills. You'll learn how to effectively communicate using ASL, understand Deaf culture, and gain confidence in your signing abilities.
Instructor: The classes are taught by the exceptional Alondra Jones, a highly experienced and passionate ASL instructor. Alondra brings a wealth of knowledge and a dynamic teaching style that makes learning ASL both fun and accessible.
Class Schedule:
Beginners: Tuesdays, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
