The National Second Chance Town Hall is an inspiring event designed to uplift and empower returning citizens and their families.
Come together with others who have faced the challenges of reentry and learn about valuable resources and support networks that can help transform lives.
The Town Hall, hosted by the REFORM Alliance in partnership with the DC Public Library, will feature a panel of criminal justice reform advocates and individuals who have successfully reintegrated into society.
Panelists will include Meek Mill (virtually); Tony Lewis Jr.; Topeka Sam, founder of Ladies of Hope Ministries and David Safavian with the American Conservative Union Foundation’s Nolan Center for Justice. Representative David Trone (D-MD), co-chair and co-founder of the Bipartisan Second Chance Task Force and Robert Rooks, CEO of REFORM Alliance will also deliver remarks.
Their stories of resilience and determination will inspire and motivate.
This event provides a unique opportunity to connect with others who share similar experiences and challenges. Forge new friendships and support networks that can strengthen your path to successful reintegration and personal growth.
The event begins with a pre-event reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by the panel discussion and Q&A session starting at 6:30 p.m. Don't miss this opportunity to empower yourself and others through knowledge, support and connection.
