A beloved annual tradition that brings out hundreds of neighbors to mingle and celebrate the season, hosted by District Bridges. We will also be launching the DCPL Winter Challenge at this event.
Winter Community Day & The Columbia Heights Tree Lighting Ceremony will feature a day of uplifting community resources and organizations, and an evening of entertainment and festivities.
It also happens to be the kickoff day for the DCPL Winter Reading Challenge hosted by the Washington Wizards. We will have registration and sign-up prizes for Winter Challenge available at this event.
Winter Community Day (2-5pm):
District Bridges’ Community Navigation Program is kicking off the day with their partner organizations to provide community resources to our neighbors at the Columbia Heights Civic Plaza
