Outdoor celebration of music and community.
Please join us for the Fall relaunch of the Garden Concert Series featuring the Whiskey Before Breakfast Band (WBBB).
Whiskey Before Breakfast Band (WBBB) is an Irish folk instrumental group based in Alexandria, Virginia.
Comprised of seven talented musicians (including three Celtic dancers), they are a spin-off of another local band, the Irish Breakfast Band, which has been playing Irish music every Saturday morning for the past 40 years.
WBBB has played live events at local bars and breweries, as well as concerts including the Fairfax County Summer Entertainment Series, Alexandria's Art on the Avenue Festival, and First Night Alexandria.
During COVID, the band began recording YouTube videos and is also currently working on their first studio album. Find out more on their Facebook Page or check out their videos on Youtube.
Concerts take place in the library's outdoor garden/patio area.
Refreshments will be served.
PLEASE NOTE: In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the Lower Level Meeting Room. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
