The library is joining ANC1A in showcasing Ward 1 services and organizations offered to youth and families to support their mental health.
In the spirit of starting the school year strong, we are inviting youth, families, caregivers, and all neighbors to join us and learn about neighborhood organizations and government agencies who provide mental health services. Join us any time between 12 pm and 4 pm through the building.
We have information for everyone - check out our schedule for the day!
Second floor: Organizations and resources for families, children 0-5 years and K-5th grade. In addition to tables with resources, there will be crafts, board games, and activities hosted by library staff and volunteers.
First floor: Organizations and resources for adults - focused on public health.
At 1 pm in the Large Meeting Room: Learn about Narcan and the opioid crisis in our community with LAYC Ward 1 Prevention Center.
Lower level: Education groups for teens and young adults.
