Learn about two free, supportive programs in DC that work with families to identify and address developmental delays in children birth through age 5, and how to access their services.
This virtual session for parents and caregivers will introduce participants to two amazing, free programs available for children birth to 5 and their families in DC: Strong Start & Early Stages.
Strong Start DC Early Intervention Program provides support and services to families with children, from birth through age three, with developmental delays and disabilities, while Early Stages works with families between the ages of 2 years, 8 months through 5 years, 10 months to identify and address developmental delays. In this session, participants learn about the services and resources offered by both programs, including how to submit referrals, the framework of the programs and additional information about eligibility and developmental screenings.
