Presented in collaboration with the DC Legacy Project exhibit, "Barry Farm: Uplifting a Living History, Ensuring a Just Future"
Join us for our Tenant Power Session on Saturday, November 15th at the Anacostia Library from 2PM - 4PM! We'll be discussing Empower DC's organizing history, the connection between chronic poor housing conditions and the connection to displacement, and we will hold a testimony prep and story telling workshop where tenants can hone their skills with telling their stories to elected officials.
This event is held in conjunction with the exhibit currently on view at the Anacostia Neighborhood Library, Barry Farm: Uplifting a Living History, Ensuring a Just Future, which is traveling to two other library locations in early 2026.
