Design professionals and emerging professionals gathering for a short lecture and small-group workshop.
During our TalkShop events we'll have the opportunity to explore and be inspired by two different ends of an Experience Design spectrum, with many of these being the conversations and creative principles that drew us to the field of Experiential Design in the first place. As the name implies, our TalkShop events will include a brief talk, with Q&A, from two thought leaders in Experiential Design, and a hands-on workshop where we'll get to apply these methodologies during a small group design exercise.
On November 12th, we'll compare Danger and Safety. This edition of TalkShop introduces Danger and Safety as two ends of the experiential spectrum, prompting inquiry into what each term means in the context of experience design.
We'll meet at the MLK Library 4th Floor Conference room (401-A) at 6pm. Note that you do not need to be an SEGD Member to attend. See you there!
