Lanterns are a significant aspect of Asian culture; children are invited to have fun decorating their own lanterns.
Through the creation of lanterns, children can learn about an important cultural element of many Asian communities. In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Heritage Month, Woodridge Neighborhood Library invites Children, ages 5-12 to come and decorate their own lanterns. A short movie will also be shown as well. The fun begins on Sunday, May 26th, 2pm.
