Let's work together to make a 'quilt' of kindness.
As we enter the New Year, let's think of ways to be kind together. Can you help someone make something new? Can you make a new friend? For this activity, try thinking about it. Then, draw a picture or write a description of how you can be kind. We'll 'stitch' it together into a 'quilt' on our big bulletin board outside of the Children's Room on the second floor!
This activity is based on the children's picture book The Kindness Quilt by Nancy Elizabeth Wallace. If you need inspiration, we'll have a copy at the children's reference desk.
