Join us at the Chevy Chase Neighborhood Library for an author discussion with Michael (Mickey) Nayak as we discuss his new debut book Symbiote.
In a war-torn world, American scientists in Antarctica face chaos when a group of Chinese scientists arrives with a dead body, marking the first murder on the continent. Soon, a deadly extremophile parasite from the truck triggers madness and superhuman strength, spreading among the crew. As paranoia escalates and rescue is months away, a small group of survivors fights against the parasite's influence and seeks to uncover its origins. They must prevent infected individuals from escaping to civilization when summer arrives, as the symbiote could shift global power dynamics.
