For over 30 years, the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital (DCEFF) has been inspiring our community through the power of film to incite change and take action so that we can preserve our planet for future generations. Join us at the Shepherd Park Library to celebrate the 33rd Environmental Film Festival in the Nation's Capital with a showing of the film WILD ROBOT.
After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot is stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh surroundings, she bonds with the native animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose. The film was nominated for 3 Oscars. Based on the book The Wild Robot by Peter Brown.
