Read with Northeast Neighborhood Library all year! Every month, we will issue a new reading challenge around a different theme. Complete at least five monthly challenges this year and win a prize!
Winter is is dark and cold, but fortunately there are lots of holidays the incorporate delicious food to keep you warm and comfortable. That's why this month's theme is Comfort Food.
To help nourish our minds as well as our bellies this winter, this month please read a novel that centers food, chefs, or restaurants, a biography of a chef, or another non-fiction book about the histories and cultures of food.
When you complete a book or movie, drop a slip with your contact info and a little about the book you read in the Challenge Box by the display, or do so digitally by clicking the "Register" button on this page .
