This workshop is how to create a simple plush bear. It covers cutting it out from a pattern, assembly, stuffing, and more.
If you've never made a plush toy before, this is the class for you. During this two-hour workshop, you will learn about types of fabric, how to cut out the pieces of the bear from a pattern, how to clip curves, stuffing techniques, and more. All supplies provided.
You will need to complete a sewing machine reservation in order to participate in this class. If you have not completed a sewing machine reservation by WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4TH, your reservation will be cancelled.
This event will take place on the A Level of the Martin Luther King Jr. Library. For reasonable accommodation requests, please contact DCPLaccess@dc.gov or call 202-727-2142 at least seven (7) days in advance.
