We're celebrating the 100th year of the Newbery Medal! Throughout the month of May, Capitol View Library is hosting a reading bingo tournament. Read award winning books to make a line and win a prize!

The Newbery Medal was named for eighteenth-century British bookseller John Newbery. It is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC), a division of the American Library Association, to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children.
