Come watch a movie, or two, with us!
Los Punks: We Are All We Have (1st Floor, Large Meeting Room)
The 2016 documentary, directed by renowned photographer Angela Boatwright, explores the young, mostly Latinx, Punk scene in L.A. and finds an undeniably gritty, yet creative environment. With unprecedented access to backyard parties, concerts, and daily ups and downs, the film shares a vérité look at the realities of the 21st century, our need for community, the importance of self-expression and of course, the power of rock & roll (available via Kanopy).
Encanto (2nd Floor, Children's Area)
The Madrigals live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto. When the magic of the small town is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, might just be her exceptional family's last hope (available for checkout).
