Free Minds Book Club will host a Community Poetry Night at Woodridge Neighborhood Library on Thursday, June 23rd from 6pm - 7:30pm, reading and discussing their own poetry and fostering conversation about the role art plays in maintaining community ties between those who are incarcerated and those on the outside. Patrons are encouraged to share their own original poetry.
Free Minds Book Club is a non-profit, community based organization that uses books, creative writing and peer support to help incarcerated and formerly incarcerated youths.
