Come and celebrate balladeer Billy Stewart's legacy by attending our Billy Stewart: How Nice It Is program on April 30th at 1:30pm in the auditorium at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library.
In partnership with the African American Music Association, we will celebrate the legacy of one of Washington, DC's most popular R&B balladeers, the late Billy Stewart with the program "Billy Stewart: How Nice It Is" on Saturday, April 30, 1:30 p.m. in the auditorium at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library.
Events will include a screening of Fat Boy: The Billy Stewart Story documentary followed by a panel discussion, a Hand Dance showcase by the National Hand Dance Association and a live vocal performance by "Silk Soul". Funding for this event is provided by The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. Free and Open to the Public. Registration is required for this event. Masks are required.
