An Audiobook Walking Club for Hispanic Heritage Month
The library is excited to partner with Pages on the Path for a very special reading experience in Hispanic Heritage Month. Pages on the Path, an audiobook walking club, invites you to get lost in a good book while exploring neighborhoods across the DMV.
Bring your headphones, walking shoes, and press play on your current audiobook as we stroll through the Southwest Neighborhood. Participants are welcome to listen to any audiobook, but for Hispanic Heritage Month, we will feature Sandra Cisneros's The House on Mango Street using the Library's Libby App.
Participants will be required to sign a waiver at the beginning of the walk. We also encourage participants to wear sunscreen, protective attire (hat/sunglasses), and bring plenty of water.
Why You’ll Love It
• Perfect for audiobook lovers and readers seeking community during Hispanic Heritage Month
• Combines wellness, nature walks, and books
• A low-pressure social experience for literary and outdoor enthusiasts
• Ideal for solo attendees and reading buddies
Please note each individual must complete their own registration including your full name. If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel at least 3 days before our event to allow someone from our waitlist to join.
