The Life of Laura Barney, by Mona Khademi, is the fascinating story of a woman born to wealth who devoted her life to peace building.
Join us as Khademi presents a biographical sketch of Laura Barney, socialite turned philanthropist, and her remarkable life story culminating in being decorated by the French Legion of Honor. -- twice. A question and answer session will follow, with book sales.
Mona Khademi is an independent researcher. She has presented papers at conferences in Switzerland, Italy, Spain, England, and several cities in the US. Her articles have been published in several journals and magazines, quarterlies, and as chapters of books. Khademi is also the Director of International Arts Management Consulting in Washington, DC.
