Calling all performing artists! The MLK Open Mic Night Series invites you to be a part of an evening of poetry and music!
If you are you a poet, musician, dancer, comedian, actor, or other performing artist, come join us in the MLK library garden space to share your art with us! The August MLK Open Mic Series is open to all performing artists!
This is a free event that's open to the public and ASL accessible. The library only supplies the microphone and does not provide instruments or specialized sound equipment. Performers are asked to bring the equipment that they need. If you have special requests, please email adultservices.dcpl@dc.gov at least one week prior to the event. Performance sign-up will be at the event on a first-come, first-served basis.
