Learn to use a 3-D printed darning loom to mend holes in cloth.
There are many ways to fix holes in fabric, but darning looms are a way to weave colorful patches over holes and thin spots. During this in-person class, Labs sewist Molly Stratton will demonstrate how to use a 3-D printed darning loom. All supplies are provided, and attendees can take the loom home with them afterwards!
This class will be held on the A level of the MLK Library. Please note that completion of a Labs Orientation is a requirement before registering for this class. To register, click here: bit.ly/labsclasses
Please note that the Labs are designated for use by persons aged 13 and older. Children aged 6-12 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
For ASL interpreters and other reasonable accommodation requests, please contact DC Public Library Center for Accessibility via email DCPLaccess@dc.gov or call 202-727-2142.
