Microsoft Imagine Academy Virtual Instructional Program

REGISTRATION PERIOD: July 20 - 27, 2026

Online Registration Required Three to six months of prior instructional or work experience preferred. These are not beginner courses. Each virtual class is limited to 20 participants

The Microsoft Imagine Academy Virtual Instructional Program (MIAVIP) features virtual classes taught in the following Microsoft Office 365 applications: Word Associate, Word Expert, Excel Associate, Excel Expert, and PowerPoint Associate.

Classes will be taught virtually on ZOOM by professional Instructors. Three to six months of prior instruction or work experience in the application(s) of choice is preferred. These are not beginner courses.

NOTE: Only Windows Desktop or laptop computers are compatible for the virtual instruction, the GMetrix platform, and the MOS Exam environments.

NOTE: Cell phones, iPads, tablets, and Chromebooks are not compatible environments for virtual instruction, for GMetrix, or for taking the MOS Exam.

Each virtual class is conducted for 2.5 hrs., twice a week, for 6 weeks, from Monday, August 10 – Friday, September 18, 2026.  You may register for two courses if they do not occur on the same two days: Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday.

The Registration Period for this 6-week MIAVIP cycle is from July 20 - 27, 2026:

• When you register, you will initially receive a Constant Contact confirmation email (please check your Spam folder if you do not see it in your Inbox). 
• After the initial confirmation email, you will receive an email invitation to remotely take a digital assessment on Wednesday, July 29, 6:00 – 7:00pm in the application(s) for which you registered. 
• Afterwards, you will receive an invitation to a one-hour, virtual Orientation, scheduled on Monday, August 3, 2026, 6:30 – 7:30pm, which is required. 
• After the Orientation, you will receive further instructions and a link from your Instructor(s) to engage their virtual class session(s) (again, please check your Spam folder for these upcoming communications). 
• Your class link should not be shared but is for your exclusive engagement of the class(es) for which you are registered.
• Your attendance in 10 out of 12 virtual sessions will qualify you to take the MOS Exam.
• MOS Exams will be remotely administered twice during the 6-week period on Certiport's Exams from Home platform.
