Step into an immersive community lab blending sensory grounding, civic imagination, and collaborative idea-building.
This fall the MLK Library is hosting the Concopian Chamber of Wonders, a Danish project created by Jan Rasmussen and Nadja Pass, presented in collaboration with DOKK1. Concopia, a collection of curiosities and questions, is two things – an exhibit and a deck of cards. Both the cards and the exhibit are designed to encourage people to stop, question, and listen to the world around them.
Join us on Sunday, September 13, from 1:30-4:00pm, at the Martin Luther King Jr., Memorial Library, for an immersive community lab hosted by Concopia creator Nadja Pass and visiting librarians from DOKK1 / the Aarhus Public Library.
A blend of nature, creativity, and collaboration, the program will include activities that spark connection and make room for energizing conversation where participants will explore our civic desires and how we might reimagine the world together.
Participants should plan to stay for the duration of the program. Space is limited and reservations are required. The event will occur in Marianne's Cafe located on the first floor of the library.
Join us to expand your perspective—and help reimagine what’s possible.
