Celebrate the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Saturday, Jan. 17, at 12 p.m. at the Anacostia Neighborhood Library; and join us for the first Common Ground Conversations, a monthly series with a unique discussion theme. This month's theme is: What's Your Dream?
Provided by Verbal Gymnastics Theater, a local theater group where storytelling and art meet community, participants will share their stories and experiences on the theme with one another and then watch actors and musicians from Verbal Gymnastics 'play back' their stories in fun, engaging and creative ways.
Registration is encouraged but not required.
This event is open to all and promises to be a fun way to be in community with one another and honor Dr. King's dream of a 'beloved community', a global society built on love, justice, and radical inclusion.
