Create your own colorful self-portrait inspired by the vibrant and expressive art of Frida Kahlo at the public library.
Bring the vibrant, courageous world of Frida Kahlo to life in our Art Attack! class at the Georgetown Library. Inspired by her powerful and colorful self-portraits, young artists will embark on a journey of creativity and self-expression. In this hands-on workshop we will learn about Frida Kahlo and create self-portraits full of personal meaning, jus like Kahlo did. Children will experiment with her rich use of color and symbolic imagery, encouraged to use traditional Mexican motifs. All supplies are provided. Class is for age 6Y-12Y.
