Lin-Manuel Miranda's "In the Heights" is filled with energy, spirit and plenty of music and dance!
"In the Heights" takes place in the the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York and is a musical romance that celebrates culture and community. Join Woodridge Library for the film showing and our post movie discussion. We'll talk about the movie in the context of our present day lives in Washington, DC and the larger society. Movie and Discussion recommended for Ages 13+. Total film running time: 2hrs. 23 minutes. Because of the film's length, we will start the movie promptly at 5pm. The film will be directly followed by brief 15-20 minute discussion. Light Refreshments to be served.
