A workshop on writing the queer love poem.
Join the Library and a Gathering of the Tribes for a very special poetry workshop for Pride season. Dr. Casey Catherine Moore and Regie Cabico, co-curators of DC's premiere queer comedy and spoken word series, HomoStanzas, will share their queer biographical love poems and inspirations such as Sappho and Ishanee Chanda. Participants will have the chance to generate their original queer love poem, sharing their work in a nurturing and positive space. Be prepared to craft evocative verses that celebrate queer love, identity, and resilience.
