Make a frilly quilt that doesn't use batting or fussy patterns.
Quilting is often a precise process that requires a lot of time and specific equipment. Not so with rag quilting! In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of cutting quilt blocks and a quilt-as-you-go method that allows you to create a finished quilt much more quickly than traditional methods. Leave with your own mini-quilt in hand. All supplies provided.
You will need to complete a sewing machine reservation in order to participate in this class. If you have not completed a sewing machine reservation by WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH, your reservation will be cancelled.
This event will take place on the A Level of the Martin Luther King Jr. Library. For reasonable accommodation requests, please contact DCPLaccess@dc.gov or call 202-727-2142 at least seven (7) days in advance.
