Exploring themes of Home, Love and Identity by celebrating the 100th Anniversary of James Baldwin whose fiction posed fundamental personal questions and dilemmas in a complex society pressured by unpredictable psychological conditions. James Baldwin in his essays expressed themes of masculinity, sexuality, race, and class to create intricate parallel narratives that align with some major political movements for social change in mid-twentieth century America, such as the civil rights movement and the gay liberation movement's Pride Month. And to celebrate Black History and Black Values by commemorating Juneteenth as the end of slavery in the United States.
