Discover the vibrant world of Alma W. Thomas, a pioneering abstract artist and influential DC teacher. Explore her journey in art and education through original works and photographs. The exhibition, curated by Jonathan Frederick Walz, also features works by Washington DC artist-educators inspired by Thomas.
"Let This World Be Beautiful: Celebrating the Life and Art of Alma Thomas" is a partnership between the DC Public Library and DC Public Schools made possible in part with support from the DC Public Library Foundation.
