Invest in our planet with theater, plant adoption, composting, and more!
Celebrate Earth Day and stop by the library for:
12-1 pm "El Gato y la Gaviota" / "The Cat and the Seagull": A live bilingual theatrical performance by Teatro de la Luna.
1-3 pm Tabling: Talk with local non-profit organizations, artists, and other groups on their eco-related work and how you can get involved. Among them, Very Sad Lab will be offering their Pop-up Plant Clinic and giving away free pollinator seed balls and baby house plants grown from the library's own Propagation Station.
3-4 pm Plant Portraits: Create your very own plant portrait using cyanotypes. A limited amount of art supplies will be provided.
