Learn how to use a laser cutter in a 1.5 hour class
After the machine intro, you will be eligible to reserve time to use one of the Fabrication Lab's laser cutters on your own. Please arrive promptly at the start time of the class to ensure participation. If you are more than 5 minutes late, you will be turned away from the class. You must wear closed-toe shoes to join the class. If this is your first time at the Labs, you'll need to complete a participant release form (bring library card & photo ID) and review our safety guidelines, so be sure to arrive 10-15 mins earlier than the start of the class to complete and review these documents.
Please note that the schedule only shows up to one month of classes in advance. If there are no classes visible on the calendar, it means that the next 30 days are booked. Additional classes will become available on a weekly basis, so check back frequently, or feel free to give us a call at 202-727-1058.
