In November we'll be reading the thriller Moon of the Crusted Snow by Waubgeshig Rice. Set in a small Anishinaabe community in Ontario, winter leaves residents without power, creating sickness, exhaustion, and panic. When an unexpected visitor arrives in town, they grapple for order with community leadership. Who can stop the death toll from rising?
All genres and readers are welcome. Reading the club selection is not a requirement to attend (just be forewarned that there will be spoilers). Titles will be decided by group members and a limited number of copies will be set aside at the Mt. Pleasant Library. Fill out this form to be added to the book club mailing list.
