Come read with us!
For our final meeting of the year, we'll be reading the neo-gothic tale White is for Witching by Helen Oyeyemi. Miranda and Eliot Silver are Haitian fraternal twins who are raised in an eerie Dover bed-and-breakfast filled with hidden passageways, family secrets and specters, and voices that reach beyond space and time. What will the home to four generations of Silver women—Anna, Jennifer, Lily, and now Miranda—come to reveal?
All genres and readers are welcome. Reading the club selection is not a requirement to attend (just be forewarned that there will be spoilers). Titles will be decided by group members and a limited number of copies will be set aside at the Mt. Pleasant Library. Fill out this form to be added to the book club mailing list.
