Want to write your memoir but don't know where to start? Join us for this four-part series!
Aspiring memoirists! You've always wanted to share your life story but something has kept you from starting. Let today to be the day you begin! Using Memoir Writing for Dummies by Ryan G. Van Cleave, PhD as a guide, we'll cover:
Bring your notebook and pen or laptop, a curious mind, and a community spirit.
To get the most out of this program, please plan to attend all four sessions sequentially. Completers will enjoy an increased understanding of the topics above, community feedback, a piece of completed flash memoir (that is, a very short memoir), and a course material packet. All sessions last approximately two hours.
Please note that due to the nature of memoirs, you may encounter some difficult or uncomfortable content in this series.
Registration is not required, however registrants will receive an email reminder prior to the event.
