Stay out late with the Georgetown Library and Art All Night!
The Georgetown Neighborhood Library is an Activation Location for Georgetown Art All Night.
6:00 - 6:30 PM: Kick off Performance by DESA Radical Elite Show Band
6:00 - 8:30 PM: Community Painting with Robin Davisson to be displayed in the Neighborhood Library.
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm - The Peabody Room on the 3rd floor will host the special collection's array of artworks, including the nationally renowned 1822 portrait of Yarrow Mamout (1736-1823). Featured will be a never-before-displayed selection of pencil and charcoal sketches of Georgetown views created between 1945 and 1960 by DC native and Georgetown resident Caroline Van H. Bean (1879-1980).
7:15 pm & 8:15 pm: Enjoy a reading of the Mid-Autumn Festival legend
6:00 - 9:00 pm, while supplies last: Display about cultural representations of the moon from around the world including the history of the Mid-Autumn Festival
6:00 - 8:00 pm: Defeat the ten suns carnival game outside (throw balls)
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm singing by Kristen Cotts
8:00 pm - 9:00 pm Kalanidhi Dancers
9:00 pm - 10:00 pm Tango
