Come read with us!
This October we'll be reading Olga Dies Dreaming by Xochitl Gonzalez. Olga and Pedro Acevedo—Nuyorican Brooklynite siblings—are surprised by the sudden reappearance of their mamí Blanca, who abandoned them to become an activist with the Young Lords. With scandal, blackmail, and hurricanes ... can the family survive? Gonzalez's debut novel and bestseller tackles issues on the parent-child relationship, love and sexuality, and colonial exploitation.
