For June we'll be reading the award-winning novel You Made a Fool of Death with Your Beauty by Akwaeke Emezi. Feyi Adekola has been told by her best friend Joy that it's time to get back into the dating scene. After four years of mourning the death of her partner, the artist has a whirlwind summer full of rooftop parties, gallery opportunities and tropical island getaways, and (forbidden!) steamy encounters—but the question is, can Feyi love again?

All genres and readers are welcome. Reading the club selection is not a requirement to attend (just be forewarned that there will be spoilers). Titles will be decided by group members and a limited number of copies will be set aside at the Mt. Pleasant Library. Fill out this form to be added to the book club mailing list.
