A program for individuals and families of all ages and stages
Shake up your Saturday and get ready to shout, whisper, and laugh as you play with compliments and insults from the worlds of Shakespeare, Go-Go, and punk. Then, jump into the action of a Shakespearean scene! Perfect for individuals and families of all ages and stages.
Stay after the session for a guided tour of the exhibit, Pass the Story On: Shakespeare’s First Folio at 400, which connects Shakespeare’s friends’ efforts to preserve the memory of his work with DC Public Library’s efforts to preserve stories of D.C.’s Go-Go and punk scenes.
Please register here. Registration is requested, but not required – walk-ups will be welcome as space permits.
This program is part of Searching for Shakespeare: 400 years of Shakespeare’s First Folio, the Folger Shakespeare Library’s April 2023 festival in partnership with DC Public Library.
