Non-profit organizations will provide information and fun activities about our local trees, how to grow your own garden, and how we can all work together to protect and preserve the environment.
Join us on Monday, April 10, from 4-7 p.m. at Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Library for an Earth Day Fair! The Earth Day Fair will be held in the event space on the 5th floor.
Various non-profit organizations from around the region will be onsite to provide information and fun activities about our local trees, how to grow your own garden, and how we can all work together to protect and preserve the environment.
Staff from the DC Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE) will also be on site to provide information about their energy assistance programs available to DC residents.
We will have music, giveaways, and fun.
This is a great event for all ages.
