Get help applying for a summer job through the Mayor Marion S. Barry Summer Youth Employment Program.

Drop in to get help navigating the online application for the Mayor Marion S. Barry Summer Youth Employment Program. *In order to complete the application, you will need to know your full social security number (please do not share this with staff), and you will need to have a valid email address. If you do not have a valid email address, we can help you create one. 

District youth between the ages of 14 to 24 are encouraged to apply online. Applications will be accepted through Tuesday, February 28. 

Young people will participate in six weeks of paid work experience through subsidized placements in the private and public sectors. Orientation for the program begins on Monday, June 26 and the program ends on Friday, August 4. Learn more by visiting their website.
