Casey Trees is a tree-planting nonprofit dedicated to restoring, enhancing, and protecting the tree canopy of Washington, DC. They especially focus on replanting trees lost in Wards 5, 7, and 8 and ensuring that everyone is able to enjoy the many benefits of trees, like reduced risk of flooding, reduced air pollution from dust, heavy metals, and other pollutants, and increased property value. Trees also provide mental health benefits and keep our neighborhoods cooler in summer. Best of all, the trees are completely free!
