Join us in person at the Northeast Neighborhood Library, this coming Winter and Spring for the return of our in-person American Sign Language (ASL) classes!
Saturdays, 10-11:30 a.m.
Feb. 18 – May 27, 2023
This will be a chance for Beginning Level signers to meet and practice conversing and learn some basic signing skills, up to 100 vocabulary words, and rules of grammar. Although the focus is on beginners, everyone is welcome to join the class, regardless of skill level. The classes are open to all ages. Children should be accompanied by a caregiver.
Beginning and Intermediate Level curriculum plans are on the DC Public Library website under Center for Accessibility/American Sign Language Classes. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and download the curriculum you need.
