Learn three basic hand sewing stitches in this workshop.
If you've always wanted to try embroidery but haven't known where to begin, this hands-on workshop is for you. Learn three types of hand stitches (chain stitch, satin stitch, and french knots) and look at examples of how you can use your newfound knowledge to decorate as well as repair clothing. All supplies--and cafe snacks--will be provided.
This event will take place in Marianne's cafe on the first floor of the Martin Luther King Jr. Library. As this is an in-person class with a limited capacity, please register at bit.ly/labsclasses to attend.
