Author Jeff Morley will discuss his new book, Scorpion's Dance: the president, the spymaster, and Watergate
Fifty years ago, Washington was transformed by the scandal known as Watergate. As depicted in the movie All the President's Men, the Watergate affairs pitted the crusading reporters of the Washington Post against a lawless president. What the Post (and the movie) missed was the hidden hand of the Central Intelligence Agency in the events that brought down President Richard Nixon.
Jefferson Morley will discuss his new book Scorpions' Dance: the president, the spymaster, and Watergate in which he tells the untold story of the CIA, the president and the burglars. There will be an audience Q&A, and he will have copies of Scorpions’ Dance available for purchase and signing.
