We’re celebrating the launch of Beyond the Book and the children’s picture book classic The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats! Stop by the children’s room, located on the second floor of the MLK Jr. Memorial Library, and play Peter’s Mitten Match all month long. This self-directed interactive display lets you match mittens into pairs on a clothesline. Then take play to the next level by making a sequential color pattern using all the mittens as you hang them to dry. During your visit, be sure to ask library staff about registering your developing reader for the Beyond the Book book club!
