Attendees will learn why archiving is important, what to prepare, and how to prepare. In part two, attendees will bring materials to enter into their own Artist Vertical File at The People’s Archive.
You are writing, publishing, performing, exhibiting, and creating work that shapes our community and tells our story. Preserving your history means you are documenting the history of our city. Join the People's Archive and the DC Arts & Humanities Education Collaborative for this virtual session to learn how you can create your own Artist File in the People’s Archive.
This is the first of a two-part series. Join us again on October 4 at 2pm at the People's Archive, located on the 4th floor of Martin Luther King Jr. Public Library to create your artist file.
